Unbound Theatre Co. questions and attempts to re-set the molds of current theatre practices. The company was born out of the desire to accomplish both artistic and administrative goals, with one mission over-arching both: to open opportunities to those who have felt closed off, and to continue to challenge and question our preconceived notions of how theatre is made.

Kristina McCloskey

Kristina is a freelance director and theatre artist hailing from Virginia and happily based in Chicago. She has equal fascination with Shakespeare as well as brand spankin' new plays. Directing and development credits include Infatuation (Dandelion Theatre Reservoir Series), Election Season (Dandelion Theatre's Ticket Booth) and the Midwest premiere of Malefactions (Gorilla Tango). She has previously Assistant Directed with 16th Street Theater (Harbur Gate), Dandelion Theatre (Ohio State Murders) and Midsommer Flight (As You Like It). kristinamccloskey.com

 

 

Elizabeth Rentfro

Elizabeth is an actor and musician and holds an MFA and MLitt in Shakespeare Performance from Mary Baldwin University in association with the American Shakespeare Center. She is the Resident Music Director of Midsommer Flight and has recently been seen in several of their productions including Maria and Feste in their annual holiday production of Twelfth Night, Jaques in As You Like It, Lady Macduff in Macbeth, and Balthasar in Much Ado about Nothing. Other credits include the recent premier of Leo Schwartz’s musical We the People, Lucy in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Open Door Rep), Much Ado about Nothing (Muse of Fire), Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead (Promethean Theatre Ensemble), To the New Girl (Foundlings Theatre Company) and Farewell my Friend: Romeo and Juliet (reDiscover Thetare). www.elizabethrentfro.com
